Each business card is scanned, converted to text, verified for accuracy, and uploaded to our database. CardBrowser is updated with fresh new business cards every week.

CardBrowser Scanning & Data Entry
At the conclusion of each tradeshow, business cards are packaged and sent to the CardBrowser Scanning Operations Center. They are scanned, converted to text records, and verified for accuracy by our data entry team. Each business card is uploaded to the CardBrowser database with all contact information including name, title, company, website, address, phone, fax, mobile number, and email address. They are available to users within a week to ten days after an event.

View Business Cards On Screen
Each business card is displayed on screen in an easy-to-read text format. View a Sample Card
Business card view displays contact name, title, company, website, address, phone, fax, mobile number, and email address. Website URL and email address are active links. An actual business card image (.jpeg file) is displayed. You will see the date and tradeshow where each card was collected.
The Hoovers link automatically searches the Hoovers Online database for a company match and displays information that may include key executives, key numbers i.e. revenues and employees, and more.
Transfer Cards to Excel, ACT, Goldmine, Outlook
AddressGrabber for CardBrowser is a desktop toolbar utility developed and sold separately by eGrabber. You can transfer business cards (one-at-a-time) from CardBrowser directly into your desktop ACT, Goldmine, Outlook contact manager program or your Salesforce.com CRM system on the web.
You can also transfer business cards (one-at-a-time) from CardBrowser directly in to an Excel spreadsheet. Just keep an Excel spreadsheet open on your desktop as you transfer business cards (one-at-a-time) from CardBrowser.
Mass Export Business Cards to Excel and Text Files
CardBrowser Data Export Account enables users to download the entire database of approximately 250,000 business cards by tradeshow, title, location, or other criteria. Download thousands of new cards every month and export to MS-Excel, tab delimited text, or comma delimited text file formats. Data exports provide all contact information including tradeshow, date, contact name, company, website, address, phone, fax, mobile number, and email address.
You can mass import business cards from Excel or text files directly in to your contact manager, CRM, applicant tracking, and other internal systems. You own the business cards for unrestricted re-use. CardBrowser terms of service restrict users from selling, renting, or sharing business cards with anyone outside of their company.
CardBrowser Database Information & Statistics
CardBrowser database has been operational and accessible to customers since December 2001 with 99%+ uptime. We have approximately 250,000 business cards online now. We collect and upload approximately 50,000 new business cards to the CardBrowser database each year. Each business card in the CardBrowser database has been hand collected at a tradeshow and all business cards are stored off-site for authentication and disaster recovery.
